I was on Livejournal before Wordpress and while that was fine when I was travelling or in college, I don't feel like using my now-limited spare time telling the world what I did over the weekend (apart from on Twitter!). Thanks Unaccompanied, to sum up my ramblings I think that right now people are sick of being spammed by Facebook applications and that it will level out where the awful applications die and the ones that add value to people will survive. As the university students that frequent social networking sites grow up, they are finding either other ways to socialise or gravitating toward more "practical" social networking practises such as LinkedIn or keeping an online blog via wordpress.
